The development of ViAble MultiMedia Services was fuelled by my passion for helping others, and my desire to connect with not-for-profit organizations and small businesses that support and promote awareness of individuals with disabilities, youth and students, and our community.

I have worked in our community's not-for-profit sector for many years, in both paid and voluntary capacities, the majority of which involve promoting awareness of and providing support for individuals with disabilities, in some way.

I hold a diploma in Radio & Television Broadcasting from Conestoga College (withRadio Specialization), and a BA in Sociology from the University of Waterloo.

My work and community involvement have enabled me to work closely with agency staff and members, consumers and clients, volunteers and other concerned stakeholders, and the general public.

I have enjoyed and been enriched by my work with many organizations, and by the individuals who utilize their services and supports.

My experience includes not-for-profit grant writing (specifically, Kitchener-Waterloo Community Foundation and Ontario Trillium Foundation Grants), website content writing and website design, and writing and content development for a range of promotional materials. I have also written articles to help promote awareness of others with disabilities, and to bring important issues to the forefront.

I have written promotional product advertisements for Smart Choice Furniture, thefurniturestore.ca, and webarticles.com.

I am also an Advisor for the Global Network of Entrepreneurs with Disabilities.

I believe strongly that our community and the individuals within it are made stronger, and a community, more cohesive, when we realize and draw upon our strengths to support one another.

This website, and the services provided through Viable MultiMedia, are a vehicle to connect with others. I want to find and embrace opportunities to utilize my creativity and talents to help others - and work to bring people and organizations together.
